Is the preview really free?
Yes. Upload one photo, choose the For Dad style and your look, and we'll paint a watermarked preview — usually in about 5 to 10 minutes. No card, no commitment. You only pay if you want the clean high-resolution file.
Will it arrive before Father's Day?
Father's Day is Sunday 6 September. The digital portrait is emailed, so it works right up to the day. Canvas prints and paper prints are printed in Australia and take 7 to 10 business days to reach your door — order those by Friday 21 August and there's comfortable room before the 6th. After that we'd honestly steer you to the digital file rather than promise a courier timeline we can't control.
Which look should I pick?
The Outback is the warm, outdoorsy one — paddock light and a windmill. Hunting Lodge is dark oils and firelight, the most traditional and the most 'framed above the desk'. Weekend Legend is bright, playful and full of movement. If you can't choose, create the preview in one look and have a look at it — it's free, so trying is cheap.

The preview is free. The full high-resolution, unwatermarked, print-ready 300 DPI file is $14.99 for one dog, $24.99 for two dogs in one portrait, and $34.99 for three. If you'd like it printed: canvas from $69, art poster from $29, mug $39, phone case $49 — plus shipping, calculated at checkout.
What sort of photo works best?
A clear, well-lit photo where your dog's face is visible. Phone photos are completely fine — most of ours are. Avoid very dark shots or ones where your dog is a long way from the camera.
Can I put both our dogs in it?
Yes. Two dogs painted together in one portrait is $24.99, three is $34.99. Start from the duo or family page and pick the For Dad style there.
How long is the For Dad style available?
It's a seasonal style — it sits in the picker until 7 September 2026 and then comes off for the year. Your files stay yours forever either way.
Can I print it myself?
Absolutely. The file you unlock is print-ready at 300 DPI, so your local print shop or framer can work from it directly. Our canvas and print options are there if you'd rather we handle it.
